Why are there no Travel Books about Detroit?
Everytime I have ever been to a bookstore, I have never seen a travel book about Detroit. I see travel books about cities such as Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York City, and Boston but I have always wonder why is the no travel books about Detroit? After all, Detroit is a major city in the United States. I use to live in Metro Detrot for 20 Years and I have never seen a published travel book about Detroit. Detroit - 7 Answers

Detroit is a major city, and there has to be books out there on it. Because only an idiot would come to visit michigan, let alone detroit......theres nothing to see here except torn up buildings and roads.
